A Finnish boot with a flexible shell, published in 5 mm steps from an 80 mm pony hoof up to a 150 mm horse hoof. The Regular runs about 10 mm longer than wide, matching the typical oval front hoof.
Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.
Flex fits within plus or minus 5 mm of the listed width and no longer than the listed length. A naturally round or upright hoof wants the Flex Wide, whose length and width match, rather than the Regular.
