Sizing across brands only works through the millimetre band, never the number. Renegade Viper and Scoot Boot Classic (Regular) both publish in millimetres, so a Renegade Viper 150x150 (hoof length 140 to 145 mm) is matched by finding the Scoot Boot Classic (Regular) size that covers the same length.

Renegade wants 5 to 10 mm of clearance between the hoof and the boot. Do not buy the boot that equals your hoof; buy the next length or width band up within that window.

Scoot's own rule: if the hoof is 10 mm or more wider than it is long, size on the maximum width band, not the length. A round hoof can also take a Slim as a half size.
