The mainstay Scoot Boot in regular width. A strapless, ventilated shell held by a captivator and front straps, sized on a length-then-width grid in 5 mm steps.
Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.
Scoot's own rule: if the hoof is 10 mm or more wider than it is long, size on the maximum width band, not the length. A round hoof can also take a Slim as a half size.
