The Ultra shares the All Terrain sole with the Active but publishes full width bands in both Regular and Slim, so it sizes more precisely than the Active for a hoof whose width you have measured.
Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.
The Ultra length bands are offset from the Active's whole-centimetre bands, so an Active 12 is not an Ultra 12. Match the Ultra by its own length band and width band.
The Ultra Slim width bands run narrower than the Regular: size 10 75 to 85 mm, size 11 85 to 95 mm, size 12 95 to 105 mm, size 13 105 to 115 mm, size 14 115 to 125 mm, size 15 125 to 135 mm, size 16 135 to 145 mm. Pick Slim when the measured width falls in the lower band for that length.
