A trail boot published in two parallel ranges: a standard size and an E size at each step, where the E cut runs about 5 to 10 mm narrower for the same length. That lets a longer, narrower hoof drop into the E line without losing length.

Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.

Do not read the plain number and the E number as one size. An Explora 2 and an E2 share a length band but the E2 is the narrower boot; pick the line by your measured width.
