A glue-on competition shoe with broad width bands, published on a length by width grid that overlaps heavily between sizes. The wide width window lets one length band carry a range of hoof widths, so it suits a hoof whose width sits between two Performance sizes.
Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.
The Compete is glued on and its width bands are wide and overlapping, so fit to length first, then confirm the width falls inside the band before gluing.
