The second-generation Rx therapy boot, published on a full length by width grid that runs smaller than the original Rx, down to an 80 mm foal or mini hoof. A soft comfort boot for thin-soled, tender or recovering hooves worn at walk over a pad.
Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.
The Rx2 is a therapy and turnout boot, not a distance riding boot. Its bands are broad, so choose the size that clears a wrap rather than the closest snug number.
