An open-heel therapy and turnout boot sized on width alone, with the length trimmed to fit. Because you rasp the length to the hoof, only the width band chooses the size, which makes it forgiving of an unusual length-to-width ratio.
Width is measured across the widest point of the hoof on the ground surface. Length is measured from the toe to the buttress line at the back of the heel, not including the heel bulbs. Measure within two weeks of a fresh trim.
The Flip Flop is sized by width and trimmed to length, so ignore length when choosing the number: match the width band, then trim. It is a recovery boot, not a riding boot.
